Let us introduce you................to our new Principal

Mr. Anthony Cacavella

Mr. Cacavella resides in Kearny with his wife, Maryann, and two sons, Anthony and Mark.

Mr. Cacavella, a graduate of Kearny High School, went on to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in General Elementary Education from Jersey City State College and a Master of Arts degree in Administration and Supervision from Seton Hall University. He has also completed additional graduate level studies at Jersey City State College and St. Peter's College.

Mr. Cacavella began his professional career in 1969 as a seventh grade teacher of all subjects at Central Avenue School in Newark, New Jersey. In 1971, he began teaching in Kearny at Lincoln School, where he taught seventh and eighth grade Social Studies for 21 years. Mr. Cacavella was appointed to the position of Vice Principal of Franklin School in 1992. In June of 1997, Mr. Cacavella was appointed Principal of Schuyler School.
